These earrings are made by hand from natural clay in my small home studio in Muizenberg, Cape Town. I roll out a clay slab, cut out all the shapes with a knife, refine the forms, hand-paint colours and details and then glaze, with at least two firings in the process. This means each piece is entirely unique and it's impossible to make again. 

My ceramic designs are made with wearability in mind, each piece is made to not be too heavy on the ear and to ensure your comfort. While care should be taken while transporting and taking on and off, these small acts of kindness towards your hand-crafted accessory can ensure a long-lived relationship. All orders come packaged in a firm box which you can keep for storage at home and for safe-keeping when you absolutely can't spend that weekend away without your ear candy. 

Do be aware that the stoneware range require special care, during transportation and handling. Be extra careful when putting on or taking off, especially when standing over hard cement or tile surfaces.
