A piece I made while I was living and working in Taiwan, during 2013. I had been experimenting with woodblock printing and decided to do some larger scale works. Taiwan was the perfect place for it, and with some help from a Taiwanese friend I managed to find all the supplies I needed for the work.
This piece is a 3-colour, two-layer woodblock print, with some colour mixing/gradient in the base colour. It was printed by hand, using a traditional Japanese baren rubbed over the backside of the paper to pick up the applied colour off the wood.
Print will be packaged in a tube, and sent to your closest Postnet. For international clients, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss shipping.
